“I created Glisse Nova to recap my lost teenage years and reflect my inner child I want to use the rest of my life to comfort...”

You are reading a story which re-documented from the diary of a young post-cancer patient—a girl who once stood on the edge of abandonment during her medical journey. Each time she underwent minor surgery, anesthesia pulled her into deep sleep, where she dreamed of adventures in wonderland, surrounded by beauty, brilliance, and shimmering wonders.

 

She found comfort in those dreams and brought them to life through art and fashion—her way of healing and rediscovering herself.  It may sound like a fantasy, but it is a true story. A journey of survival, transformation, and the miracle of rebirth.

 

And this girl is me - a founder of Glisse Nova - a young women high fashion brand, a place where everyone can discover their unique fashion identity and connect with others who share the same passion.

Glisse Nova vision is to create a brand that reminds women of their strength, helping them shine through adversity and rediscover their confidence. I imagine young girls seeing a part of themselves in my designs, feeling inspired to dream, create, and grow.

Glisse Nova was created with a deep love for craftsmanship, storytelling, and elegance. Through thoughtful design, sustainable practices, and authentic storytelling, we aim to celebrate individuality, support young creatives, and build a meaningful connection with our community.

“Maybe, in a way, I’m designing for my younger self too—for the girl who dreamed of beauty, resilience, and a second chance...”

“Who am I designing for?”. I’ve thought about this question countless times. Glisse Nova’s target audience ranges from 16 to 32 years old, but in my heart, I design most for young women between 16 and 22. Maybe it’s because that was the age I missed out on and I want to give them what I once longed for: a sense of beauty, confidence, and transformation. Helping them seeks pieces that blend romantic femininity with sophistication, reflecting both their inner strength and softness. 

Glisse Nova journey was filled with sketches, ideas, and musings on what it meant to blend memories with modernity. With a colorful pastel palette, I want to capture hope, lightness, and the gentle embrace of self-love. In each design, I infuse beauty and sweetness, realizing with joy, “Oh, little girls can wear this too.” It’s my way of reclaiming the innocence and wonder I once yearned for.

Not just for myself, but for those who might be walking a similar path. To the dreamers, the artists, the ones who have ever felt lost.

I am selling my story and bringing those memories to life.

Transformation

From obsession to transformation, a drop of blood in water becomes a metaphor for recolouring—spreading, shifting, and creating something new. I want to intertwine the imagery of blood and ribbons, symbolizing cancer awareness, while telling a story of resilience, where each ribbon becomes a thread of hope, a way to “sew” and heal the soul.

Like a drop of blood in water, red spreads—transforming, healing, and a thread of life. As the boldest hue of this campaign, red embodies the essence of transformation—strong, unwavering, and full of life.

Realisation

Reborn

The colours I once longed for began to fill my life, I felt myself growing more alive, more aligned with who I was always meant to be. I wanted to paint my life in soft pastels, as if life itself would treat me with gentleness and grace. I could transform the ordinary into extraordinary, just as I transformed myself from the inside out.

Realisation

I came to a realization, and in that instance, visions flashed in my mind—fleeting glimpses of who I could be, who I wanted to be. Joyful, free, confident—my true self, just waiting to emerge. And in that moment, everything clicked. I realized that through art and creation, I could lift myself from despair.

The act of creating became my power. Through every bow, every garment, every stitch, I began to transform. The colours I once longed for began to fill my life, and with each creation, I felt myself becoming more alive, more true to who I was meant to be.

Bowtiful Collection

How a simple thread can weave into something meaningful? How a single bow can become a symbol of strength? If Born To Create is the story, then Bowtiful is its heartbeat—the details, the emotions, the inner characters that bring this creation to life. This collection is a reflection of my journey, a transformation from colourlessness to a world bathed in soft pastels. 

Since the moment I began designing this collection, my mind kept returning to the time I lost—my teenage years, the thoughts left unspoken, the emotions I couldn’t fully grasp. I wanted to bring the innocence of a little girl I once was into every design, capturing her softness, her dreams, her untainted wonder.

The soul of this collection is bows that inspired by cancer awareness ribbons. They embody healing, remembrance, and the strength to move forward. Woven into soft pastel hues, they embody emotions, tenderness, and hope—the gentle embrace I long for in life, the quiet resilience I have come to cherish. 

Bowtiful collection was create with various materials, carrying their own weight and poetry.  Silk, organza, taffeta, and satin which is delicate yet bold, intertwining to create a balance between femininity and avant-garde expression. When layered and mixed, they transform into something innovative and playful, a celebration of movement, texture, and artistry.

Incorporating the brand’s signature monogram and elements into distinctive and memorable pieces, the accessories product line will be versatile creations that people can wear, play with, style in their own way, and make uniquely theirs.

Using monogram and the ribbon to carry the spirit of Glisse Nova, a starting point for expanding into shoes and accessories. Glisse Nova can be something that can accompany girls every day, not just for special occasions, but in their daily lives, through little moments that still feel exclusive.
